For a production of the Stephen Sondheim/James Lapine musical Sunday in the Park with George, I created the animated projections. The demo below utilizes the soundtrack from the video shot with the original Broadway cast.
These projections were then used in another theatre's production of the show. At that director's request, I also created animation for the "Dog Song". The goal was to make it seem like Seurat's art has "come to life", so I adapted the art from the actual painting. Both productions I've been involved with utilized musical tracks by Right On Cue Services, so all the projections were timed to be in sync with those tracks. In this demo, I sang the parts of the dogs to the musical track, strictly following the published score, but in a typical production they would be sung live onstage by the actor playing George.
