With Weston Woods Studios, Galen co-wrote and co-directed (with Jerry Hunt) a 30-second PSA for the 2007 Collaborative Summer Library Program. The spot is based on characters and art created by Mark Teague. Micah Baker animated the spot and designed the backgrounds, which were painted by Scott Shoemaker. Paul Giamatti provided the voice of Ike LaRue.
